Finally admitting my orchid obsession!
Hi everyone,
I admit it - I am obsessed with my orchids. Many have just started to bloom, and I am proud of each new flower!
I usually acquire orchids with scented blooms because I have a blind son.
Hi everyone,
Deb in Melbourne, Australia

Hi Deb
This is the place for the orchid obsessed alright I love it when a bloom pops out. Someone on here said that it is like getting a new plant, and it is! I continue to learn things I didn't know about my chids on the board too. You could send pictures of your chids.

The first step is accepting your addiction...then you embrace it!
I'd love to see some pictures of your orchids. Too bad we don't have Smell-A-Vision yet

Welcome aboard, Toshie. It's great that your son can enjoy your orchids too. Have fun here.

Hi Toshie
This Orchid Board is great. I was aiming to go for the orchids with fragrance but that has all fallen by the wayside now, cos I am as weak as weak. When I go on a trip to a nursery or show, I turn into a frenzied monster buying anything that is unusual or beautiful, and this covers just about anything. I have had losses because of our drought so I have started exercising a little bit of self control lately. Great idea for your son, but he will think all orchids smell great. Better not buy any of the stinkey ones or he will become disillusioned.
