Thanks Tim, I do have it and all my other orchids out on my porch for the summer. Have a hard time finding a Vanda basket to keep it in here in Toledo, they just don't have a lot of orchid supplies around this area. Thanks to all for the warm welcome, I've already learned alot by reading the posts.

Karen, you don't need a basket unless you just like the look. I tie mine different ways, from two loops of tiewire so that it's laying on its side, even upside down if its a rescue. I only use baskets if it came that way. Hmmm I may need pics for this?

Hi Karen, to OB. You found the greatest forum. I learned so much and the advice you get here is great. We love to give our whenever needed and sometimes not needed. You can find infor on about anything that comes up. My own experience "no question is too dumb to ask, ask till you understand the answer'. Good job rescuing the chids and post pictures they don't have to be in bloom!
