Ciao Susanne, I went to Las Vegas this spring for an exhibition and I've see too the Venetian inside. It's a good miniature replica of some places in Venice but if you have the opportunity to visit Venice you could see a big difference. It's really poetic and the Venetian are duplicating with good result this aspect of Venezia.

Ciao Marco thank you for your welcome and this afternoon (local time) I post some pictures (of Venezia too).

Ciao OrchidTess thank you for your welcome. I will take the opportunity to learn better english and improve it.

Ciao Cheryl thank you for your welcome. I've tried to use some online translator but the result is not very well. So I prefer to make myself learning little by little. Thank you for your suggestion.

Beautiful places! Is there a place for mountain skiing?

Sure! Think that in the Dolomiti there are many skiing areas that totally are the largest skiing area in the world (more than 1.000 km.) with very beautiful landscapes and with programmed artificial snow to warranty the possibility to ski from dicember to april.
