Default Hello Everyone!

Hello All,
Although I'm not new to orchids (I've been growing them for about 14 years, more successfully over the past 3), I am new to the Orchid Board, and thought that I'd say hello to everyone.
I live in Naples, Florida, and have a collection of about 400 plants. I'm also doing a little bit of hobby hybridizing with vandaceous plants. We'll know how successful I've been in about 5 to 10 years. My first seed pods have shown good germination in the lab. I hope that everyone has a great summer...at least with what's left of it.
Bye for now, David

Welcome on-board. I'm new to the Orchid Board myself. I find the photos and discussions very interesting and educational. I wish I had known about the Board earlier. Good luck on your seed pods.

Welcome aboard David!
This is a great place to hang out and get to meet people from all over the world. OB will be another addiction on top of orchid growing! Please post of your rather large collection as we love pics. Also, we would all be interested in your ongoing hybridizing projects.
Ask questions, offer knowledge....we welcome you!!

Default I've posted some of my photos...more to follow

Hi Folks,
A couple of you suggested that I upload some photos in the gallery, and so I have. Right now I've got some of my vandaceous plants showing, but will add others in the near future. Enjoy!
David
Here's a link to my Vanda gallery:

Wowser! Incredible Vandas! I can't grow them so I find it especially wonderful to see pictures of such an amazing group. My favorites are Erika Cizek Dann and Trichoglottis brachiata. I don't recall having seen them before. Like I said, wow wow wow!

David, I love your vandas! Especially Ascda. Fuch's Sunglow 'Starrlyn'. It reminds me of my Ascda Flamboyant Mary Motes (which is my favorite plant). Welcome to OB!

Hi Susie,
Thanks for your comment. I'm excited about that particular plant because I noticed a few weeks ago that it is growing 3 basal keikis. In a few years when they are big enough to be blooming I'll be sure to update that photo. :-) David

PS I know that RF still has a few in stock in case you're interested.
