Marie from Michigan here... new to Orchids

Hello. Thought I would go ahead and introduce myself. I have had several orchids for a year now, but have to admit I have killed all but one of them in the last few months... arghhh... Looks like this site and all of you out here have the help I will need as I just love this beautiful flowers. Thanks. Marie

Don't feel too bad Marie. I killed my DH's best orchid. He lost interest in them and gave me a dozen. I had no idea what to do with them. Things are better now. Except I have become an orchid wacko!

Welcome Marie! Glad to have another person from Michigan on here! There are actually quite a few of us on here and I'm sure they will say hi too. Like others have said, we have all killed our fair share so don't worry too much. As long as we all learn from our mistakes it's all a learning experience. OB has really helped me out and I'm sure it'll do the same for you!

I grow in my home, under lights,and have several different types of orchids, from the large vanda to minis.
