Glad to see you on OB. I enjoy this site and some of the discussion expecially from members from far away places. But good to see a local guy too. From Jacksonville myself - you know me already. Same society - show chairman etc. . Nice to see young people get involved in the orchid scene. Would like to see a lot more of your generation with the same down to earth interest that you have.

Thank you for your kind words. Right now we are by neccesity landscapers; though we have well over 20,000 orchids and more everyday. Unfortunately the orchid biz has not been enough to perpetuate even a modest income. We think that part of our 'problem' is that in order to grow the highest quality plants it requires a greater expense. We would rather not substitute quality for lower operating costs. Our labor cost is practically nothing as my wife, myself and a part timer do all the GH work. But the costs of fertilizer has gone up by over 300%!!! One day we hope that we can devote 100% of our time (sun-up to sun-down anyone who's ever owned a business or is a farmer knows what i'm talking about.) to growing orchids, as well as expanding our breeding program. Over time we hope for greater exposure as well as to be ever more involved with our orchid societies and trade shows. It takes a lot of time and money to get ones business name out in plain view. Hi tom, welcome to the forum.
Nice company website, and good luck with your business (there can never be too much orchid nursery's). Just some remarks about the site (professional tick of mine)
"all orders placed this week will be held and shipped on November 30th & December 1st" seems to be a long wait
and me being from Europe i always get disappointed when ordering on line that only at the last page of checkout i find out a business is only shipping within in the US.
It would be nice to have this mentioned somewhere in the shipping and return policies.
