Baloney. Singapore would be the dream place for an orchid grower to live. Wait til you go to an orchid show there. I hope that you have a bit of self control. I also have a Miss Joachim and I think am at last learning what I need to do to get it to flower. I am hoping that this summer it will flower for me for the first time. I can hardly wait. Hope you can give us all some tips on what we need to do to help this little beauty.

Welcome to OB, I went to Singapore in Dec 2005, it was very nice. Tons of Orchids there, I checked out the Sentosa Island Orchid Gardens, it was a lot of fun and a lot of orchids. If you haven't been there yet, which I'm sure you have, check it out. It's very relaxing. Few pictures below
