Hi Everyone:

I am so pleased that I found this forum. My husband bought me my first Phalaenopsis Orchid plant and I want to make sure that I don't kill it!
My orchid finished flowering so he bought me a book on Orchids to find out what to do next. I pruned the stock and started watering it with 20/20/20 every second watering and made sure that I took it downstairs to the basement over night because it was cooler down there and now it has sent out 2 shoots and it looks like there are flower buds starting to grow. I am soooooooo excited. I talk to it EVERY day. Now that the buds are forming, do I continue to water it with fertilizer or should I just use water?
Thanks for all your help!
Karin
