irphrog, where do you find that information on Cycnodes and Cycnoches and their abbreviations? Also, I read that it makes a difference if the first letter in a name or abbreviation of one indicates something. I noticed you used a Capitol for Cycd. and lower case for cyc. Can you explain the significance.

Dorothy, I am guessing from your suggestion that these varieties would be familiar to the Catasetum Stanhope etc. I don't know what that is or how to access it. I would be greatfull for your guidance.
