Cool saying Hi!
HI:
My name is Jeff Schumacher and I live in Brookings, SD. I know the frozen north(gr). Anyway I've been growing orchids off and on for about 15 years. I've become more serious about growing them lately as I will be retiring in the next few months, and I really wanted to find something exciting to keep myself busy. I can think of know better hobby than growing orchids, there seem to some to grow no matter what a person's growing conditions are. I hope to get to know all of you in the future.

Thanks for the big welcome. I don't have any relatives in Australia. I wish I did. I've always wanted to go there and see the rainforests. Do you live close to Queensland? I got a rude reminder of South Dakota weather this morning as there are snow flakes in the air. Don't you envy me?(gr).

Hi Jeff...Yes we do have rainforests around here in my subtropical area of Qld...but the biggest and best is some 1000 km north of here in the Qld tropics. Check out my website and click on "Where I Live Page". It has a brochure button on Queensland.
