One would think thatwere the case however these plants are found around the cape area and they experience winter rainfall and a dry summer. I tried reducing water and to be quite honest with you I cannot say there was any benefit to it at all. On collecting pollen from Mystacidium venosum in situ, I could not help but notice how much moss was on the branches, the game rangers told me those areas remained damp throughout the year or always had a high humidity percentage.

I am only too happy to help anyone with any queries! I am currently on the road quite a bit, in Cleveland for the next three weeks on business but I will do my absolute best to answer any questions in a timely fashion.

I am not sure if this will go through as I am on my Blackberry but I am located in Doral, FL. Your avatar looks like a well grown Baldans Kaleidescope "Golden Treasure" is it your plant?

Default Warm Florida Welcome

Hi Keegan600. Welcome back to the sunshine state! I'm new orchid hobbyist, Ansellia africana is one of those orchids on my wish list I'm looking at acquiring. What are the culture requirements for this variety? Your wisdom is greatly appreciated.
