New, Thanks to Jenn

Thanks to Jenn for recommending this board to me. I think she got tired of my questions or wanted to educate me! Six or seven years ago I bought a few orchids and that was the start of mine and Jenn's addiction. I still have two of them, a white NOID and what we think is a Baldan's Kal. 'Golden Treasure,'. I do remember a poor Dendrobium that I sent to an early grave. Then Jenn decided she needed orchids. Recently Jenn's obsession has rubbed back off on me and it's been a fun hobby for us since, including our first visit to an orchid grower greenhouse.

The first orchids I purchased don't have their tags but I have since learned to keep them in the pots. I now have 10 Phals, two new Dtps (Red Elf and Tony) which I became totally fascinated with when I saw my first Red Elf with Keikis, one vanda Blue, one phap which Jenn convinced me to buy, one Epi Mabel Kanda, one Onc Sweet Sugar, and yes I am trying my hand at another NOID Den. I also gave my Mom a Candy Stripe Phal which I am sure will come back home as soon as the blooms fade. My single shelf in the south facing window has turned into a 4 shelf bakers rack and I had to dodge the little vanda hanging from the tree when I mow. All of my orchids, except a few phals, are relatively new so I need help. I get excited with every new root and shoot I see. I look forward to what I can learn here
