Smile Sunny Florida Hello

to everybody, new here on the board. Interesting topics so I had to join. I have a Epi. Mabel Kandal that I'm growing, some of it's leaves have turn purple. I have it hanging on a thress under a oak tree in CHC and perlite mix. Could this be cause by it getting to much morning sun or something else? I apologize I don't have a of what I'm talking about.

Welcome to the board! For most Epi's, purple is good! While I'm not familiar with this exact species, I would suggest you are doing just fine so far. The purple color means it's getting really high light (which it likes).

Welcome to the board from another Floridian!

I have that same orchid and mine is also purple. I love the color, as it is different. I give mine pretty high light, with some actual sunlight in the late afternoon.
