I was born here and raised in New Jersey (until I was 14) then moved back here and haven't left (only for vacations). I love it here except for the hot hot hot summers .

That's the only thing I don't like about the islands. Here it seldom gets over 100 and we never get the high humidity you do. When we went to Jamaica it was early Sept. and we didn't do any sightseeing unless it was on the water. It was just way to hot and humid. The breezes kept it bareable at the resort.

That was our first Caribbean vacation. Now we try to make it in the Spring. Fall would be nice except for it's hurricaine season then. I'm a travel agent and we love to travel. My husband and I spent 3 weeks in the Caribbean a few years ago for our anniversay. We left late Nov. and returned rigt after our anniversary mid Dec. We spent the first week in a timeshare in St Thomas, the second on a sail boat around Tortola and the third on a cruise. It was great, a little hot at times but mostly beautiful weather.

One of our daughter's is getting married this year and they want all of us to go to Aruba next year.

Default Hallo all of you

At least I`m back. My computer has been down, and everything else that could go wrong, so hell broke loose. I ever started training . A little of everything has been flowering, even Laelia sincorana that you can see here in my album (I think). So when it comes to orchids, I`m quite pleased.
