Aboard Ingrid ... one orchid huh ... you have great self-control, but now that your here the OB has a wealth of information and once you sign up your self-control is out the window. Hi, I'm Nelly. I'm new to the OB. I live in Alberta, Canada. NO WE DO NOT LIVE IN IGLOOS. I have about 50 orchids that I grow under lights. When they come into bloom I bring them upstairs. At present I have mostly phals. with some species and some other varieties. Hope to learn from the rest of you.

btw, are Polar bears a real pest in your area ? I've heard they get into people's canoes and steal caribou and seal blubber I hate when anyone messes with my blubber
