hi!
my name is paul.i grow orchids only in s/h and nature,s way,mounted in tree,s.i have about 200 orchids in my green houses.i grow what ever i see that i like,which is all of them!i retired from the navy in 79,26 yr,s ,bought first orchid in 80 and have been hooked ever since.i live in deland,fl.

Glad to have you aboard, and hope to learn from your experiences. There's a number of s/h devotees on this website, along with a number of new converts such as myself.

You'll have a great time here, just as long as you post pictures of your plants!

Oh yeah, one more thing...GO AIR FORCE SINK NAVY!!!! (I'm a USAFA grad, can't help it)

You'll find lots of information here coming from very friendly people who are, thankfully, willing to share their knowledge of orchid growing.

I am in Florida too, west coast, in Spring Hill and grow my 108 out on the lanai...bought my first 'chid in March of 2005!

Please feel free to ask your questions, post your photos (we LOVE pictures here

) and join us in the chat room. We usually start gathering there around 8pm.
