is it family friendly? do the prices typically get pretty astronomical or is there a fair chance of us bringing something cute home?

Completely family friendly. One of our officers frequently brought her baby. You will be able to take things home for reasonable prices.

This can go in this forum... Orchid Lounge is pretty general, or the Beginner Forum also pretty general purpose, or the Cypripedium Alliance-Paphiopedilum forum. Your choice... If it's a specific question about a Paph, the Paph forum is probably best. General culture questions are right at home in the Beginner Forum too, it's not only for beginners!
