Hello everyone! I'm happy to have found this site again. I registered several years ago, but never had time to participate. I'm retired, living with my husband, two dogs, 300 fish tanks (we breed and maintain rare species of freshwater tropical fish), and tons of plants. I've been keeping orchids for around 20 years, starting with Phals. Who knew that I would progress to keeping over a dozen different species. I currently am smitten with Stanhopea and I am experimenting with Coelogyne -I ve killed 2 species a few years ago.
Anywho, I live in SW Pennsylvania, USA. All of my house plants are moved out of doors each May and stay there until a threat of frost. It's not a very long growing season, but it's home.
I'm happy to be here and hope to post some pics of a few Catasetum that are in bud right now along with a Rhyncostylis "Pink" that's setting buds. I love plants!!!

Glad you came, welcome. Stans and Coel. are faves for me and I've had scattered success but have a few and always will!

Welcome back!

There are a lot of aquarists here as well. Eventually we'd love to hear about your fish. You might find posts in the Terrarium Gardening, Pet Depot and Off Topic - Totally forums, accessible from the left yellow menu, Forums.

Welcome

I'd love to know more about your dogs please! I am a self confessed "Crazy Dog Lady" having 4 rescue dogs myself and running my own doggy day care business

Thanks everyone for the welcoming! My real name is Regina, but folks call me "G", that's why my moniker is Gpesci (G fish). I'm going to have to check out the forums for fishy stuff!

Thanks FranningtonBear! I'm happy to hear that you love dogs and I hope that you have lots of fun with your doggy day care. I always wanted to volunteer at a shelter, but I know that I'd want to bring them all home and/or would cry every day. Our dogs are a Shih Tzu that was rescued from a mill named Molly. She's the cutest dog that looks a lot like an Ewok or some folks think she looks like a jumping spider, lol.
Our other rescue is a Shepherd mutt named Makenzie. She's an elegant sissy, but everyone is intimidated by her because she's black. We will always have rescues!
