Hi Male
Default Hi

I am really not good with these, so pardon my inconsistencies. Also, english ain't my native language (Brač, Croatia), so i apologize for any grammar in advance.

I'm a 30M, living on an island in a house with no windows usable for plant growing and two small gardens; one for vegetables and the other for flowers and wild strawberries (can't get enough of them). Grew up in a very plant-oriented family; my mother had about 100 roses with bits and odds between in fron of the house. Behind it was a vegetable garden i tended to with my grandmother who sold the produce. I don't live there anymore, but a passion for growing on my own did spark back then and one could say i had a head start. Most things those two women know/knew was correct as they had tried and failed many times before, even if they couldn't explain it correctly.

Most people have a prefered kind of flower/plant, or a group of them. My mother particulary enjoyes roses and sweet jasmine, while my other grandmother grew dozens of african violets. One of my aunts is good with orchids, tho her methods are often more...casual than i prefer to use. I don't have any particular preferance; some days i adore my lillies the most, other times it's magnolias or orchids that i get fascinated by weeks on end. But to be honest, that's not why i'm here.
I like your everyday phal's, but i've ended up from 0 to 40+ orchids in less than four years, not counting those that met their demise to teach me a lesson. While some are doing parhaps too well (i got some mini terrarium orchids last day of april and half of them had already bloomed or sprung new leafs/roots), others aren't doing too hot (looking at you, D. nobile whome i foolishly kept inside with my cymbidium and can't expect blooms till next year.)
I've degressed; I'm here to pick up new knowlage, or parhaps share my particulary nieche experiences, if ever need be. I might not be th emost active person in the preson, being quite antisocial, but i will be lurking.

If you have endured all that, kudos to you.
Have a nice day.
