INtroduction
to everyone. Im glad I found this site, Ive been in love with orchids for a while tho not sick like some people I know ( no Offense) ANyway Ive been looking and taking pics of wild orchids in the everglades and hope I can get some help here in identifying some of these. Primarily Id love to get a pic of a ghost orchid in bloom but no luck yet. I have all sorts of cool pics I will be posting on here soon, Id love to hear from anyone out there with similar interests in wild orchids that is. Thanks

Watch for Sue's and Daves posts. They are down your way and Sue will post the standard on posting images (I don't have all the particulars like she does) and Dave "flhiker" hikes that area (the Strand) frequently.

Thanks again Ross and Dorithy, I will be checking those links. I downloaded some pics already but I think I misplaced them in this website either in my profile or in gallery someplace, anyway I will sort it all out soon.

Welcome Swamper! We do love our photos here. I'm looking forward to checking them out. Ross is right about there being some other in situ photographers here and some smart ID folks. Glad you found us here.
What do you grow? Any FL natives?

Ok I think I got some pics in, Thanks Dorithy for the comment on the mirror, and thanks to everyone for all the help and support.
Royal I have some orchids I have bought and have them outside in my yard, some on trees. They are growing but I think I have very little to do with their growth other than my love for them. Did Jefferson really say that about beer?
