Newbie from Vancouver

Hello everyone. I am a new Orchid Board member located in Vancouver, Canada. I have a dozen or so orchids, of mixed varieties. Yes, I'm one of those hopeless impulse orchid buyers - sometimes I end up with plants that are not optimal for my environment, but other times it works out great (like the $15 Ludisia I rescued from a rack of bedraggled hanging baskets at a gas station - it is my most consistent and spectacular flowerer). (Is "flowerer" a word?)

I look forward to talking with everyone and learning more about how to successfully grow these wonderful plants.
