Hello,
My mom gave me a piece her Brassavola Nodosa a few months ago and my collection has quickly grown. Yesterday I found myself walking 1/2 a mile in the wind supporting a half-off Loews Home Improvement white with purple spotted phalaenopsis that was too beautiful to pass up and I realized I was hooked. Like... I may need to go to rehab to save my marriage because my bathroom is covered in orchids. Haha, just kidding. Husband likes my plants (so far).

I realized that today I had a question so I decided to post and introduce myself. If you have experience with mini dendrobiums, hop on over to the beginners section and see if you know what's wrong with my scraggily little dendrobium hekouense, please and thank you!

Catch you on the flipside, Sophmae

Hello and welcome!
Pittsburgh has an active orchid society, OSWP (Orchid Society of Western PA and they have meetings and shows.

The Orchid Society of Western Pennsylvania

The speakers at their meetings often bring plants and there are great vendors that attend their shows...I attended their shows when my kids attended college in Pgh.

Good luck with your orchids!
