Default Hi, my name is Doug and I'm a new kid here.

Hi all,

I'm very happy to find an orchid family. I've been raising orchids for a while. I'm fond of Paphs but I enjoy others as well. My collection is small ~30 plants but growing. I just had a Monnierara Millennium Magic 'Witchcraft produce 9 blooms last week. I also have a Paph. 'Fred's Grandeur, Zygonisia Cynosure 'Blue Birds', Restrepia landsburgii, Phal. violacea, and Haraella retrocalla in bloom. I have an Oncidium Twinkle ‘White Shower’ and a Wilsonara Martian Leather 'Berrylicious' in spike.

All that aside I'm hoping to learn a lot from everyone in the community here.

~ Doug

Welcome, Doug.

Paphs and phrags are my primary plants, too.

Hi, I am brand new too. I am looking to get advice so I don't kill all these fun new plants I've bought. Unfortunately, my tastes are varied and I haven't been able to focus on one type of orchid. Hopefully all these posts will teach me how to be a successful orchid parent anyway.

Good luck in your orchid growing.

Welcome, Doug! We are glad to have you! I'm definitely looking forward to picking your brain on paph care. Sounds like you have a beautiful collection! What zone do you grow in?
