Hello and welcome!
I belong to an Orchid Society here in Ohio and I am very glad that I gave it a try. You can attend a meeting or two without becoming a member to see if you are interested. If you have any orchids in bloom, you can take them with you to show off.

The Massachusetts Orchid Society meets outside of Boston. You might consider the Amherst Orchid Society - much closer.
