Greetings!

After lurking a while, I’ve decided it’s time to introduce myself. I started growing orchids three years ago. The orchid that kicked off my hobby was an oncidium with beautiful red flowers and fragrance (after some sleuthing I’ve determined it was a Wilsonara hybrid) that I picked up on a whim from the grocery store. It slowly perished from under watering.

Nowadays, I am happy to report that my ever-increasing collection is mostly thriving. I am drawn to species Phalaenopsis, Paphiopedilums, and Neofinetias. I look forward to learning a lot from the veteran growers on this board!
