Default Late Introduction

Apparently I created my Orchid Board account back in 2015 and never got around to posting anything until now. Better late than never, right?

Orchids and I have had a long love affair - my first hybrid Phalaenopsis was a gift from my mom when I was 13. That particular plant and the rest of my original collection was unfortunately confiscated by US customs when I was college (I have no one to blame but myself). Since then, I have been rebuilding and diversifying my collection as a "windowsill"/outdoor grower (depending on the season); I've got grocery store Phals, species Phals, rupicolous Laelia, Paphs, Dens, Maxillaria, and a few other odds and ends.

I look forward to learning from the wonderful and experienced community here (and seeing loads of new species to covet)!

I guess a belated "welcome" is indeed in order! Best of luck - I grow rupicolous laelias as well, and am looking forward to seeing more about yours.
