Intro
What a great resource this has already been!
I live in Minnesota and have a basement shop dedicated to growing orchids. I started out having the whole shop humidified - but that caused quite a bit of trouble in the rest of the house. Now I have a 4' x 8' grow tent that is very efficient in the use of space. That's where I keep most of my high humidity orchids. I have 2 other bakers racks that I keep other plants and lower humidity orchids. All of the racks have dimmable Mars Hydro TS2000W's.
As far as interests - I really like to grow Dendrobiums (most types), Oncidinae alliance, Phal polychilos, Grammatophyllums, and I also have quite a few paphs.
My most recent endeavor has been drilling down into the needs of the different Dendrobium subgroups in order to provide better culture for them. I'm also working on fine tuning the lighting - especially in the grow tent. High Desert Orchids has been super helpful (both their website and recent AOS webinar are super helpful. The owner has the follow up artificial lighting webinar coming up later this month)
Thanks everyone!
