Yes, I prefer a local society website or app. AOS website is much too generic and their magazine is much too focused on species and articles about plants in their native habititats rather than care of specific plants. My favorite is the St Augustine Orchid Society

Is it just me? The plant in the photo does not look like a Phalaenopsis (moth orchid). The flowers and the spikes, yes, but the leaves, definitely not. Unless there is another plant in front of your Phal???

It looks to me like there is at least one "non orchid" in front of the Phal... I can see a Phal leaf at the bottom of the photo just barely.

Which brings me to another question... is (are) that other plant(s) in the same container as the Phal? Sometimes that's done to make an attractive arrangement... which is likely deadly to the Phal. If that is the case, definitely repot to give the Phal its own medium and conditions.
