Urea is metabolized by bacteria in the moist medium to other forms. People argue but I don't see any difference in plants fertilized with urea or ammonium fertilizers.

I read many growers in the tropics like Indonesia use plant vitamin B1 to help orchids in such condition. For organic fertilizer, many recommend rice water, onion/ garlic peels, fish/ meat water, etc. Caution: this might have a strong odour. I do not give my plants vitamin B1 though, because I cannot find it where I live. I do not water my vandas with those organic fertilizers either because I grow them indoor. Good luck!

I'd never thought of adding vitmain B1.
Considering every single orchid flasking media recipe contains vitamin B1 on top of the fertilizers it makes sense to maybe see if it does anything for the adult plants
after reading up about it it seemsa to be yet another one to add to the "myth list"
