After growing up with orchids, my mom has a large collection, and being friends with a local orchid grower who has since retired, I finally have a couple of my own. Used to know a lot, but now I'm really rusty. Glad to find a place like this. Hello Everyone.

Hi rt! Welcome to OB! There are many friends here you will get to meet. Enjoy the site and ask questions if you'd like. You'll be remembering "how to" soon, I'm sure.

We love to see s of your orchids. The OB has a gallery where you can upload your s to share with other members.

The two that are currently in my home are a Cirrhopetalum Elizabeth Ann 'Buckleberry' Fcc/Aos, wow that's a mouthful, and a Brassidium Pisgah Recluse... Fresh from ebay tonight and on their way here are a Cirrhopetalum Marilyn LeDoux and a Bulbophyllum ramosii aka flavascens. Put pictures in my album, but they are still new plants.
