Greetings from the Northeast of the US!

Hi! I am a newbie with orchids– but “bought” a collection of 7 orchids to help out somebody who was leaving the country.

Long story short – the orchids are not in great shape – many don’t have root systems, they are all dehydrated, and some have snail and slug damage. I don’t think there are active snails or slugs at the moment; I put some lettuce leaves out on the pot and nothing showed up.

I’d love to post some pictures and get your advice but I think I need to have five posts to do so? So here is my first post!
