Hello from Central FL

Hi-
I've been lurking for a week or so.Doing a lot of reading and searching.I tried orchids a few times when I lived in South Fl and never had any luck,but I wasn't addicted to them at the time.I brought the few I had left with me to Central FL and they got nailed during a freeze.
My hobby for the last 10 years has been freshwater and reef tanks.I have 10 tanks ranging from 10G to 300G.My plan is to reduce my number of tanks to 5 or less.Growing corals has been fairly easy for me,but I need to add something new to my life.
I'm getting ready to shut down my 75G reef and turn it into a terrarium/orchidarium.So I have the container and the lighting,but I have tons of questions about the set-up,care,additional equipment,and husbandry.
I will try to post my questions in the appropriate forums.Thanks for being here for a newbie.

I'm in Dunnellon.I love it here.I spent 35 years in Ft. Lauderdale prior to that.Before that I was born and raised in Ohio.Where are you?

I live north of Orlando and move back here from St Lucie County after being there for 16 years. What a huge leap from Lauderdale to Dunnellon. I apparently leaped in the other direction
