Hello from Michigan Male
Default Hello from Michigan

Group,

I have had a Cattleya for a long time and just recently, my finance' and I got re-energized about orchids. Now I am on a mission to get this old boy and his kin, to rebloom. Not enough light is problem.

In the meantime, we attended the MOS orchid show in March and also a local nursery's seminar on orchid growing, which only peaked our interest and also managed to get us to add to the collection. How do you stop?

Looking forward to learning and hopefully adding my input along the way.

John & Mary

Welcome to the OB John & Mary, there are plenty of knowledgeable people here so ask away! I was at the MOS show too, it was a great show, tons of people. "How do you stop" what does that mean.

Welcome from another Michigander.

Not many of us are able to tell you how to stop. Most of us have reached "the point of no return". It sure is fun though.

Thanks for the welcome. Ross, I think you may be the furthest north Michigander for at least another 2 weeks. I am a part time Indian River and part time Metro Detroit resident. I'll be making the move north - with orchids - soon.

John

I'm from Hudsonville, midway between Grand Rapids and Holland. I am only 1 mile west of Kent County, into Ottawa County but my postal address is Hudsonville.
