Hi, new grower in Brooklyn
Hello,
I just started growing a few orchids with my girlfriend in our Brooklyn apartment (hurray for windowsill plants). I haven't grown plants in years, and I never touched orchids until a few months ago so I came here to learn and give my plants a good chance at life.
My plants, as of now are Zygolum Louisendorf 'Rhein Moonlight', Brassavola Little Stars, Isabelia virginalis, Eria globifera
(also I do my best but I have dyslexia so apologies for any spelling errors in advance)

Welcome to OB. I think these days many folks are able to devote more time to plants. Good for the plant and our mental health. My Eria globifera wanders up the treefern mount and blooms regularly. Unusual upside-down flowers, right?

Welcome "aboard".
No problems with spelling or nomenclatural standard (unlike many here).
You have plants with a fairly wide range of cultural needs there:
►Zygolum Louisendorf 'Rhein Moonlight', Medium light/intermediate to cooler temperature
►Brassavola Little Stars, Very Bright, very warm
►Isabelia virginalis and Eria globifera (now considered to be Campanulorchis [Cam.] globifera), , Moderate shade/diffused light, intermediate temperatures

Thanks everyone, nice to start meeting people.
theorchidapartment good to see more Brooklyn apartment growers, gives me hope for my plant collection
Yeah you're right Ray, it's been a bit of a challenge setting up our growing area, I don't know if we have it quite right but it has been making things interesting.
