Hello to all,
I am an amateur orchid enthusiast wishing to learn more. This is also my first forum ever!
I have a selection of orchids that have survived my eastern light exposure. I did have a few orchid species that didn't like my light/temps/conditions which i lost yet many have thrived and flowered! I have always had a green thumb and my interest in orchids began when I reestablished contact with one of my high school teachers who had a large dendrobium form which he gave me some and they grew and flowered! Now I have a small collection of various types.
I do have a store bought phal which I used keiki paste on and now the original spike has produced 3 keiki's and one of those has put out a spike while still on the mother plant! I wasn't sure when to separate them and never did. I have pictures to post and open for advice as to where to go from here.
