Hi to all!
Just signed on yesterday.

Growing up with Orchids, it was easy to take them for granted...
I have just purchased two new friends... A Phal Swan and a Taisuco Firebird. I look forward to learning and growing my relationship with these remarkable flowers.

A question to the circle: The firebird is in a 4" pot and has 2 stems. Is this ok?
Peace
Phoenix

A hearty to the OB!! Real nice choices you've made! We love so please get the camera out and let us see!!

If by ''stems'' you mean two flower spikes, they are fine for a 4" pot. It's the roots you need to pay more attention to. Are they nice and green and plump?

Actually the roots of both are showing and over flowing with the Firebird. They are also pale and dried out on parts. I bought them at a grocery store and they are from "McLellan Botanicals" if that is relevant.
Peace
Phoenix
