Hey Sade,
welcome here. I'm a big fan of Mallorca (I'm German by birth) and spend usually 3-4 times a year there cycling with my European friends. Every now and than I'm looking for a townhome there (i'd love something in Algaida region) but that is not happening over night.
Anyway, 50 plants is not small to start with. I can see that Mallorca has a very forgiving climate and you should be able to keep lots of them in natural habitat. I'm quite new to this as well with a similar background. Green thumb forever and than due to covid more time than usual home and fell in love with it.

Hola! Recuerdos desde Barcelona...my collection is about 50 as well and I must say that Mediterranean weather, especially in the cities, can be a bit too hot in summer.
