HI, from Ohio! And HELP needed!

Hey! I’m Nick - I live in Ohio. I have a question I hope y’all can help me out with! I’m a new-ish (since July) Vanda dad! It’s been doing great with all my doting and finally after five months it started growing a flower shoot. It grew about 4 inches... started to take form. I was excited! So I moved it to a brighter area of my house and I dropped it in the process and the stem broke off! 😤 my question is - is there anything I can do to encourage it to flower again right away or soon? Or is it like a “blooms once a year - better luck next year” kind of thing? Any advice would be great thank you!!

Hello and welcome! Do you know the name of your Vanda? Some species/hybrids do bloom just once a year while others bloom more often.

A lot of Vandas will make another flower stalk relatively quickly if something happens to the first.
