Hello from CO

Hello! Relatively new orchid hobbyist. Previous to moving to Denver, CO I focused on CPs. Had them growing everywhere outside. Had a few orchids too. Nothing crazy. Moved to CO. Every CP died...so I started focusing on orchids. Have 60+ unique species and hybrids. Biggest problems I have are root rot from degrading medium leading to water retention longer than I anticipated. Newly potted plants do fine but take a while to re-root.

For my tropical conditions - I grow along the lines shown in the attached image. Root rot can be pretty much eliminated in that way. Works well in the tropics here.
