Hello from Dorin in Southern CA
Default Hello from Dorin in Southern CA

Hello everyone! My name is Dorin and I'm a beginner in orchid-growing. I just finished graduate school and now can dedicate more time in gardening and growing orchids. So far I only have a few Phalaenopsis orchids and my growing skill is limited to reblooming them. I've been reading some of the posts in the forum and am eager to learn from everyone.

Welcome to Orchid Board FarmerTrevor!

Congratulations on getting through grad school and having time for a fun hobby/passion. What are you thinking about branching out into, orchidwise?

Thank you everyone!

@WaterWitchin, I think I'm going to stick with miniatures because of space limitation (I live in an apartment). But beauty is beauty and a lot of of the bigger plants are beautiful, so I'm not going to rule them out.

@estacion seca, I studied business and graduated with an MBA. Staying in the public sector (I'm a county employee), though, so not going to be rich anytime soon.
