Hey ya'll, new here and new to orchids(all phals at this time, I live in oceanside,CA. After killing multiple plants over last couple years the nerd in me and went deep down the rabbit hole of videos how to get them to thrive/recover. I have 8 total in various stages of growth/ recovery (saved from 50% off rack, if I can save em I can raise em). 5are in medium/fine bark mix very little moss(I'm an over waterer) 2 were in really bad shape so they are getting tea soaks daily in just water(old cut wine bottles) will be trying semi hydro with these 2. Most recent plant is in a combo medium/fine bark mix and leca. I have grown peppers for years in various ways, pots, raised beds, and hydroponics(dwc buckets) so this orchid adventure has been a lesson in patients since most plants I've grown in past needed lots of water and grew really fast....... Thanks for reading and cheers. Looking forward to checking out the threads here

Eric
