Hello from Yorkshire UK - Orchid Board

Hi I am new to the site just thought I would introduce myself.

Although I am an experienced gardener I am new to orchids my partner bought me my first Phal in November (and its still in full bloom) since then I have gathered 7 more and I feel I am addicted already so its not likely to stop there.

Look forward to spending some time here learning more.

I really like your orchids!
The vandas looks VERY nice in the tall glass vase- like things.

and welcome, fellow orchid addict! You sure have some nice orchids there.I also think the vanda vases are neat. They have a way of following you home, so this is probably only the beginning.
There are several active members here from the UK and other European countries who all have a great time and can tell you about all the good places to order more orchids!!

I went south this weekend and attended my first orchid show and I am sure you wont be surprsied I can home with a few more for my collection. I will post pics when I have down loaded them.

It is a colmanara massai red it was in full flower when i bought it so only lasted a a couple of weeks not helped by I think it was a bit warm so i have moved it to the kitchen window but a space isnt a space for long is it
