Hello from Southern Maryland

I stumbled onto this site by accident, looking for some information on using H2O2 on a red-brown leaf stain that appeared on one of my paphs. Question was sorta answered by forum posts. 😀
I’m a newbie, started when our daughter bought a blooming phael for my wife two or three years ago. Then we discovered that Woodstream Orchids in Huntingtown was close, bought a couple of paphs, then more....
We don’t have a lot of plants due to limited space (two four- shelf units in the kitchen) but enjoy what we have. Phaels, paphs, phrags, and one oncidium trying frantically to survive my efforts.
We use LED lights, starting with some small units from Amazon, and I’m looking into getting some 24” T8 LED units. Just got an inexpensive light meter from Amazon and am learning about foot-candles and lux. LOL
I’ll browse the forums for a while. Looks like I’ll get a lot of good info.

Welcome! I will be moving back to Southern MD in a few weeks, near Deale. I lived there for years and did not realize there was an orchid place in Huntingtown. I will have to visit them, they would be 20 mins or so away.
