Hi, I'm Sparky from Ridgewood, NJ. Got my first Phalaenopsis about four years ago at the annual Philadelphia Flower Show.

Right after I first introduced myself, a notice about an orchid show popped up on my screen. Today is the last day, and it will close in about two hours!

My husband and I are on the road, rushing to get there in time to buy a new orchid.

Did you get there in time? Did you get an orchid? Was it a bargain as they would be packing up?

We got there while the show was still open, although too late to see anything from Ten Shin Orchids—they’d sold out.

There were still some beautiful orchids to buy, but I was hesitant to splurge on unfamiliar types of plants. (Been there; killed that).

So, I bought a Phalaenopsis Fuller’s Gold. As you anticipated, I received a discount.

A good way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Welcome. Englewood and Montvale were my old stomping grounds plus Ridgewood has great eateries! This past show was in Rutgers as you know and another great one is Dearborn Mkt. in Holmdel,NJ(Monmouth Co.)next month. An orchid soc. is in Englewood I believe so that may be on your radar.
