I’ve read a great deal of helpful information on this forum (I and my orchids thank you) and suppose it’s time I stop lurking. I live just north of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge in an apartment with large, unobstructed east-facing windows, terrible insulation, and loads of plants. I try to choose plants that enjoy temperature swings and can cope with cold night time temps better than I can
I have a recently acquired Clowesia Rebecca Northen “Mikabi” that’s now in spike, which I am both thrilled and a bit nervous about considering the quite varied experiences I’ve read about. Wish me luck?
My collection is small so far - I have a friend with 150+ orchids who advised me to take it slowly. I can do that. In the meantime, I’ll be reading around the forum!
Cheers,
Bianca
