Greetings from Croatia

As the title says, I come from Croatia, from a small town Opatija, on the Adriatic coast.

I received my first orchid, as a gift, a white mini phal 5 years ago. It stood in the dark corner of the living room never reblooming again, just growing new leaves.

Then 2 years ago I got gifted another white phal, but this time with big giant flowers. Again it wouldn't rebloom but it produced a nice keiki.

Anyways, that was a start and I fell in love with orchids. Lots of reading, watching videos about orchids and 2 years later I now have around 20 beautiful orchids. Mostly Phalaenopsis types (round 50%) but also a few dendrobium nobiles and phalaenopsis types, oncidiums, miltoniopsis, and a zygopetalum.

In the end, I managed to get both original phals blooming again including the keiki.

So after years of lurking and reading posts, I finally decided to join the Orchid Board family.
