Love RF orchids in Miami - great nursery

I live in florida and i have a large brassavola collection.
Brassavola nodosa
Brassavola silver, granny smith
Brassavola, little stars
Getting Brassavola, coral drop

I got into brassavola when i found wild ones on oaks

please ask questions

also i have my own mini question about brassavola nodosa. I am trying to flask some seeds. can i use the same flower spike. so can i take some pollen from one flower and polinate another flower on the same spike ?

or will this make my baby orchids sterile and give then a disease from breading together.

RF is a great place and you should definitely explore all the Redlands growers and nurseries - i love banjong as well!

I don't know of any need for a plant to not self pllinate if it is capable of doing so- plants with male and female parts are generally fertilized from their own parts as they are just in closer proximity than the parts from other plants.
