Hi all!

My name is Chris, and I'm excited to be able to join. I'm new on the forum but have been reading/learning/(lurking) as a guest for quite a while.

A bit about myself: I am currently a student, with an ever growing orchid collection. This may or may not be a good thing as limited space and sunlight is becoming a problem

As much as I enjoy keeping orchids, I thoroughly enjoy the 'science' and 'engineering' behind their husbandry. I thought I would join Orchid Board to be able be able to share my journey and get valuable input if/when stuff (inevitably) goes sideways.

I look forward to learning.

Does anybody know if the 'newbie' restrictions still apply? I am not sure if the "5+ posts before photo uploads" or the hyperlink addons still apply.
