Default Hello from Connecticut

As the title says, hi, I'm Becky from Connecticut. New to orchids, not new to plants. I rebuilt a leaky fish tank i found on the curb and have turned it into a bioactive terrarium which houses 4 orchids (aerangis fastuosa, macodes petola, *edit: bulbophyllum treschii*, and a haraella retrocalla), 4 air plants, 2 cryptanthus and a selaginella. There are also springtails and a grass spider in residence.

Joining for advice and trouble shooting should i need it

Welcome to Orchidboard!

Nice little selection of orchids in there. Haraella odorata is a favorite of many people since it's a little blooming machine. How do you deal with the tall Pyschopsis spikes in your terrarium? Is the top open or do grow more horizontally?

Attaching photos to a post on a phone is not the easiest thing to do since the site isn't mobile friendly. You have to reply in 'go advanced' where there are more options, including 'manage attachments'. I think that there might also be the 5 post limit still in place before you can include photos (it was an anti spam measure). If you still can't get a photo up, try repling to a couple more posts and try again.

I managed to figure it out, there wasnt a limit but i couldn't photo dump as it was too much data to load at once and have to upload one or 2 at a time to attach to the post. I put pics in a post in the terrarium section of the board.

Edit it was a trescii not a psycopsis* i realized right before buying that the psycopsis would be too tall for my tank and got a bulbophyllum treschii instead

The trescii hasnt bloomed yet so idk, it is producing a keiki atm. I have it in a foam tree buttress thing i made a while back to act as a planter so it should hang over the edge and the flower has a good foot or so of room before it touches the substrate floor. Pretty sure the trescii is also a miniature so it shouldn't end up too big.... i hope lol idk none of them were in bloom at the greenhouse when i went to select the plants

Yes, I saw those posts after I had replied here! Glad you managed to sort out the photo uploading.
