Hello all.
I just joined the board, and thought I would introduce myself. I go by (fukiranman). I love all kinds of orchids, and have a number in my collection.
I started growing exotic plants when I was in my teens. I started with Cacti, and over the years I had purchased orchids, which unfortunately for them I was unable to give them the best care. Fast forward to now, I joined my local orchid society and have started a collection of Orchids.
I have some Neofinetia (furan/fukirans) hence the name. Vandas, dendrobium, maxillaria, cattleya, and some others.
I do some woodworking, to make homes/ mounts for my plants, and enjoy doing that.
I have some Orchids that are on my wish list, like: Dendrobium victoria-reginae, Spathoglottis plicata (Tahitian grape), Taeniophyllum elegantissium. Maybe some day, I will find these varieties.
I hope to get to know some of you all, in time and I hope to become part of the Orchid community.
